2 Day Cycle Baycation (based in Havelock North)

You will love our 2 day Baycation short break getaway! Package includes two self-guided cycle tours over 2 days, quality bikes and full support while on the trails plus accommodation for 1-2 nights at the Porters Boutique Hotel (studio room) in the busy, happening village of Havelock North.

We have scenic cycling on our flat, easy trails direct to superb wineries, around Havelock North and welcoming local cafes and restaurants with fresh, tasty food.

Ride the 2 best trails which take you to the coolest places in Hawke's bay.

Day 1:  Cycle 35-55km on the Tukituki Road, and on river trails to Cape Kidnappers.

Cycle from the village down roads to the river pathways and along the stunninig Tukituki Valley. Cycle past Craggy Range (the top winery in Australasia) to Cape Kidnappers. You can visit one or all of the Cape Kidnappers cluster of wineries - Elephant Hill, Clearview and Te Awanga Estate for wine tastings. 

Lunch (cost to be paid direct to winery) is at the relaxed Clearview Estate . Our van will pick you up after lunch to transport you back to your accommodation in Havelock North or jump on your cycle and head back under your own steam.

Day 2:  Cycle 25-55kms along flat, cruisey pathways down the coast or inland via Gimblett Gravels to get back to Ahuriri. Your choice! If you want to visit a ton of wineries head inland via Hastings to the Bridge Pa triangle and back to Ahuriri 55km OR head along the Pacific coast to Napier City and all the way back to Ahuriri (35km).

OPTIONAL EXTRAS: Choose to include accommodation booking, airport pick up and/or bike hire:

Hire an E-Bike for $180pp for the 2 days riding or use a standard pathway bike for $110pp.

CHOOSE accommodation at Porters Boutique Hotel (studio deluxe or twin room) in the vibrant busy village of Havelock North - from $150pp/night. NOTE: accommodation pricing is variable depending on dates - public holidays and event weekends will cost extra. PLEASE contact us for final package price before making payment.
