DAY BY DAY BRIEF:
Travel to Hawke’s Bay to your accommodation in Ahuriri or Napier. Depending on your travel arrangements and timing, drive directly there for check in or be met by our complimentary shuttle at the Hawke’s Bay Airport for transfer to Ahuriri. If you arrive before 12pm you can get riding on arrival day!
Day 1: Cycle 30-45kms along flat, easy pathways to Cape Kidnappers/Havelock North.
You will be met with your bikes mid morning and given a map and instructions to begin your cycle down stunning coastal pathways, orchard and vineyard country to Cape Kidnappers. You can visit one or all of the Cape Kidnappers cluster of wineries - Elephant Hill, Clearview for wine tastings.
Lunch (cost to be paid direct to winery) is available at Clearview Estate and or Askerne winery. Our van will pick you up 4pm at Black Barn winery to transport you back to Ahuriri.
Day 2: Cycle 25-55km. These diverse trails go North to Bayview then inland to Taradale and Puketapu – tons to see here! Cycle for a half day and get lunch at Church Road or Mission Estate winery (25-35km) or head all the way to Puketapu Pub (55km) for a full days ride.
$600pp with 2 nights accommodation booked at Crown Hotel, Ahuriri Napier in a studio room.
